The Woman in Red

I still remember that day,
it has been a long way.
That pretty Woman in Red.
Had Stole my heart away.

Her hair was black and straight.
With few touching her right face.
Her lips were tender red,
I was waiting for her to embrace.

It was meant to be a date.
I told her that she was looking great.
She blushed with those mascara-filled eyes.
with a big smile, for which I didn't have to wait.

All I did after ordering food was stare.
and poor her, had me to bear.
She raised her elbow to the table top.
with 4 fingers on her chin, she started to stare.

The whole date was filled with fun and joy.
her sight was the best I could see with my eye.
her laugh was like that of a mischievous toddler.
but it was time to drop her home and wish goodbye.

So I drove her home, real slow.
and when we reached, we were both so low.
she said thanks, and walked towards the door.
but stopped at the porch, turned back, and smiled.
AND I KNEW OUR PRESENT AND FUTURE!!!
